International Relocation Package

Thinking of moving to New Zealand? The Department of Corrections offers an international package for psychologists.

What we offer

Freight forward

Help with moving your personal belongings to New Zealand, up to a maximum of NZD $10,000.

Airfares

A one-way economy flight to New Zealand for you, your partner, and any dependent children under the age of 19 who are travelling with you.

Transit

One night’s accommodation if you need to stay somewhere during transit on your journey to New Zealand.

Airport transfer

A transfer from the airport to your accommodation, up to NZD $300.

Accommodation

Up to 4 weeks accommodation upon arrival in New Zealand.

Rental vehicle

Use of a rental car for up to 4 weeks, up to NZD $5,000. Please note fuel costs are not included.
